A Giveaway for Isaac

My friend Isaac Earlenbaugh is 17 years old. When he was 8, he was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. This disease degenerates his muscles over time, and there is no cure. He is in a wheelchair full time and needs nearly 100% physical assistance. However, we have a unique opportunity to make Isaac’s independence and passions become more of a reality for him!

Isaac has recently been entered in a competition to win a wheelchair accessible van that he would be capable of driving!! With this van, Isaac would be able to do SO much on his own! But this will not happen unless we have the support of hundreds of people.

To encourage you, I’m going to do a giveaway for y’all!

Happy Monthiversary

I am so pleased to announce the winner of the LOVE SESSION contest!

Sarah and Chris had an amazing 84 votes!

Here are some fun facts about the couple from Sarah:

1. Chris tried to set me up with his best friend a year before we started dating 2. I tried to set Chris up with my sister, too… 3. We celebrate our “monthiversaries” every 14th of the month. So, Valentine’s Day, we’ll say, “Happy 32nd Monthiversary!” I know. We are super cheesy. And I don’t even care! 4. Chris’ last name is Lee. My first name is Sarah. If we get married, my name will be … yep, you guessed it. 5. This is one of my favorite pictures of us, because it was so fun to make. I saw the field on the way to his cousin’s wedding, so when we came back, we drove to an abandoned restaurant and parked there. We had to gather my telephoto lens, tripod, and camera, and run (yes, run) about a quarter mile down a road in the middle of nowhere. The cars were flying by and there was no shoulder on the road – I was scared for my life (probably more so for my camera). I picked a place in the field, set Chris up, composed the shot, put it on the timer, pushed the shutter, and sprinted/jumped through tall grass in my dress so fast over to Chris that he had to catch me every time so I wouldn’t fall down. We shot about 30 photos, and afterwards, I had to wash my legs because they were so itchy from the bugs in the field. Ick.

A Love Session Contest

I was sitting in my hotel in Charlotte, NC, and realized. OMGosh. It is really close to my favorite pretty and pink holiday. That I love. VALENTINE’S DAY is super fun, and what better way to celebrate than by having a really fun stylized love session!

This can be a portrait session, or an engagement session. But the theme is LOVE either way… whether its a gift for yourself, a loved one, or a special engagement session.

So, anyone can enter! How’s that, you Valentine’s Day skeptics?

Here are the guidelines:

Be willing to drive to or around Winston Salem, NC for a Free Love Session!
“Like” Alisandra Photography on Facebook.
Refer to me in a status of yours! something like… “I’m loving @alisandraphotography and hoping I win her contest!”
E-mail ali[at]alisandraphoto[dot]com with the subject of [Love Session]. Include your name, some fun facts, and a photo!
I’ll post your photo on the Facebook Page page and whoever has the most likes by February 14th at 12pm in the afternoon will win!
