Information
- How much do you charge?
Wedding coverage starts at $3200. Portraits begin at $350. %5 sales tax is applied to each contract.
- What kind of equipment do you use?
Oh I’m so glad you asked. I love my Canon products. But I am a minimalist. To each wedding, I carry 1 main camera, 1 back up camera, two flashes, and 5 lenses. I use natural light for everything except the reception [unless family portraits take place in a REALLY dark church].
- Do you travel and are there fees?
I do travel. I love the south especially [sweet tea and grits? yes please.], but will travel anywhere. If I’m driving, I charge $1 per mile over 60 miles. If the location is a flight away, or requires an overnight trip, total costs will be gathered and paid for by the client. However, I am so willing to be picked up from the airport and sleep in Granny’s guest bedroom [no couches, please--I don't want to be sore when I shoot your wedding!] so don’t be afraid to suggest “money saving” ideas!
- Do I get the rights to my photos?
Alisandra Photography holds the copyright to the photograph. However, you’ll be granted printing rights. This means you can take your DVD and your written permission slip to a printer and get anything you want printed. Where is the best place to get them printed? Mpix.com is AMAZING.
- Do I get ALL of my photos?
I’ll be honest. You don’t WANT all of your photos. And let me tell you why. Included in “all” are pictures where people are blinking, testing the light, photos where I accidently took a pictures of the ground, etc. So, you don’t mean ALL pictures. But I also don’t promise a certain number of photos. The number of photos you receive depends heavily on the activity at and length of your wedding. Don’t worry, though. I won’t deprive you of a beautiful image. That would be mean!
- How long does it take to get my photos?
2-3 weeks.
- What are the three most important things I should know about you?
I love God. My life has been utterly changed by His grace and love. I love my husband. We got married in October 2010, and marriage is one of the biggest blessings in the world. It is the largest lifelong growing experience I’ve ever been a part of. Photography isn’t who I am, it’s what I do. And I LOVE to do it. But I have to remind myself daily that there are more important things in life besides my source of income. Photography has taught me so much–I am thankful to be a wedding photographer, but life will go on with out it. My photography excels and grows if I keep this perspective.
- How can I book you?
Send me an e-mail at ali@alisandraphoto.com with your name, your fiancĂ©’s name, your wedding date and location, and some other details. I love details. I look forward to hearing from you!
